The Problem
Operating a growing fleet of Linux production servers without a centralized health monitoring system resulted in 'blind spots'. Unpredictable CPU spikes and storage bottlenecks were crashing key services before the IT team was even aware, severely impacting operational continuity.
The Solution
I conceptualized and deployed a highly integrated telemetry stack. Utilizing Prometheus for aggressive data scraping and Grafana for visual compilation, we successfully achieved a master terminal view of global operations.
Custom Bash scripts were written to monitor deeply specific local application variables not covered natively, streaming directly into the pipeline. Finally, alerting rules were rigorously defined so that DevOps managers receive instant Telegram/WhatsApp pings the second a server's memory exceeds 90%.
